Congratulations/Well done to the following OTC players for their efforts in participating in the Wright Sports Junior Tournament that was held here in Tauranga over Labour Weekend:

Kate Allen, George Culling, Thomas Culling, Nick Freeman, Tyler Gartner, Nathan Ingram, Benjamin Jones, Callum Jones, Kieran McSweeney, Jun Nam, Caelan Potts, Tom Sussex.

(I got this info from the Tennis NZ website so I hope I haven't missed anybody (sincere apologies if I have). Results not posted as of 8:30am.)

Labour Weekend Tennis Schedule

Hello ,

There will be no senior or junior tennis this weekend (Saturday and Sunday October 26 and 27) as our courts are being used for the Wright Sports Junior Tournament.

Senior club day will instead be on Monday October 28 starting at 1:30pm.

Otumoetai Juniors: Interclub Assessment/Practice

Hello ,

There will be match play this Saturday October 19 from 9:30am to 12:00am for our Junior Interclub players. This will help Jason, Donna and co with team assignment and playing order.

NOTE: This will NOT interfere with Hotshots Club Coaching which also begins this Saturday.

In addition, for the next two Tuesdays (October 22 and 29), from 3:30pm to 5:30pm, matches will be organized to help get our players match-ready for Interclub.

NOTE: Pre-Xmas Interclub begins November 2 and ends December 14 (no match play scheduled for December 7 due to the Waikato Xmas Tournament).

Otumoetai Tennis Juniors: Reminders

REMINDERS
Wednesday Interclub Practice Sessions
These begin this Wednesday October 16. Sessions are 3:30pm to 5:00pm, 5:00pm to 6:30pm and 6:30pm to 8:00pm. If you are not sure which session to attend, text Club Coach Jason at 027 245 4317/email clubcoach@otumoetaitennis.co.nz OR attend the session you went to last year.

Saturday Morning Hotshots Club Coaching Sessions
These begin this Saturday October 19. Red Stage for ages 5-8 years from 9:00am to 10:00am, Orange Stage for ages 8-10 years from 10:00am to 11:00am and Green Stage for ages 9+years from 11:00am to 12:00pm.
