Attached is our first junior newsletter of the season. Our intent is to have these issued on a monthly basis.

We have had a few new members joining our club already which is good news. A reminder that the last of our Open Day/Registration sessions is tomorrow, Wednesday from 3:30 to 5:30.

Also, don't forget to sign up for pre-Xmas junior interclub that begins November 2 and ends December 7.

Looking forward to seeing you all playing down at the courts.

Business House Tennis Pre Xmas Round 2013

Starts Tuesday 15th Oct and Thursday 17th Oct

Thank you to those who have already entered, from the August advice, and I will have already acknowledged receipt to you.

There are still a few spots available but not much time left to enter now. There will be no opportunity to enter late, so please respond this week.

The details and entry forms for Business House tennis are on the club website on the Business House page at http://www.otumoetaitennis.co.nz/league.html if you have some workmates, family or friends interested please enter this week as time is running out.

New Tennis Ball machine (Revised)

Hello ,

Otumoetai is happy to announce that a new tennis ball machine has been received, and is now ready for use by our membership (Senior members, age 16+, and Juniors when accompanied by a Senior member or parent who have received the ball machine orientation briefing).
The machine has been tested, and stocked with tennis balls. It can be used on either Astro (Court 5) or Plexicushion (Court 1) surfaces.
Mike Reed has agreed to coordinate use of machine. Before using the machine, a brief familiarisation about operation/features of the machine is necessary. The machine will be stored downstairs in the clubhouse. Please contact Mike (027 454-3038) for orientation on the machine, or Fred Kleve (544-5088) about a slider door key for downstairs.

With the school holidays coming up I am pleased to announce that I will be holding tennis camps at our club as follows:

Week One: Monday September 30 to Friday October 4
Week Two: Monday October 7 to Friday October 11

Time: 9:00 to 12:00

Cost is $25/ or $100/week

Otumoetai Junior Tennis: Open/Registration Days

Hello ,

My name is Julia Kleve and I have taken over from Karen Bree as your Junior Administrator. I can be contacted by telephone at 544 5088 or by email at juniors@otumoetaitennis.co.nz.

In preparation for the 2013/2014 season which begins October 1, we will be having our Junior Open/Registration Days on Wednesday September 18 and 25 from 3:30 to 5:30, and Saturday September 21 from 10:00 to 12:00.

So, get out your racquet and come and enjoy being out on the court again. If you have friends interested in trying a new sport, bring them too. All will be welcome.
